Information on the first-year student pack
You can collect your student ID card on the day of the freshers’ welcome between 10.00 and 14.00 at the Student Services office (room M 05).
Please bring a valid form of identification with you when you come to collect it.
If you do not collect your card on this date, you can collect it during the Student Services’ regular opening hours. To avoid long waiting times, we recommend that you attend on the date specified.
Once you have successfully enrolled, your user ID for your university account will automatically be made available for download on the ICMS portal. We will notify you by email once it is available.

Starting your degree marks the beginning of a new chapter in your life. To ensure that all students, staff and lecturers can work together safely and effectively, there are a number of important rules to follow.

Once you have access to the ICMS portal via your RZ account, you can download your certificate of enrolment from there.
Change of degree programme
If you change to a different degree programme within six months of your last enrolment at Worms University of Applied Sciences, you will not receive new login details or a new student ID card.
Once the transfer has been finalised, your new enrolment certificate will be available on the ICMS portal. You will need to validate your student ID card for the next semester.
Re-enrolment
If your last enrolment at Worms University of Applied Sciences was more than six months ago, your RZ account will be deleted. You will therefore be issued with new login details upon re-enrolment.
You can usually continue to use your existing student ID card. If you no longer have it, please contact Student Services. A new ID card will not be issued automatically.
Additional services
The ZfH Koblenz, in collaboration with Worms University of Applied Sciences, offers a voluntary virtual bridging course in mathematics. The course is delivered entirely via e-learning and is aimed specifically at first-year students at Worms University of Applied Sciences.
Mathematics poses difficulties for many first-year students – not just in STEM subjects. The course is particularly suitable if you did not take an advanced mathematics course in the upper sixth form or if some time has already passed between leaving school and starting your degree.
